Health & Safety Yorkshire Fabrications Ltd places the highest importance upon health, safety and welfare in accordance with our duty under section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, fulfilling our obligations to both employees and members of the public who might be affected by our activities. All employees are aware of their obligations and are fully trained in their duties. We have a fully qualified workforce that hold CSCS cards and are trained and competent in other areas including PASMA mobile scaffold towers, IPAF, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, Confined Space Working, First Aid and Working at Height, regular tool box talks are given to all our operatives. We carry out Risk Assessments for all our activities and from these produce a detailed method Statement for every operation we do. For lifting operations involving cranes we appoint CPCS Appointed Persons that produce detailed lifting plans and Lift Supervisors that oversee the lifting operation. Our combination of training, expertise and experience means that our customers can rest assured they are getting a first class service on site. We employ a full time registered safety officer. All our systems are operated in accordance with OHSAS 18001 Environmental Policy Yorkshire Fabrications Ltd. recognises the importance of using the Earth's resources responsibly for the benefit of future generations. To this end, the Company will strive to promote regeneration, whilst striking an appropriate balance between environmental, social and economic obligations. We will ensure that we meet our obligations outlined within the Environment Protection Act 1990 and all subordinate regulations. All our systems are operated in accordance with ISO 14001
